Copyright and Content Rights Policy

The permissions you need for source media and how rights holders can report disputed content.

Effective August 29, 2026

Legal review recommended. This product-specific draft explains how Fireship.ai is designed to operate. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel for your business and the locations where you offer the service.

Use authorized source content

Use only content you own or content you are authorized to download, transform, caption, combine with an advertisement, and publish. A public URL does not by itself grant those rights.

Before submitting a website, YouTube URL, image, video, music, logo, or other asset, confirm that your intended use complies with copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, advertising, and platform rules.

Creator responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing each generated clip and personal-ad outro before publication, preserving required attribution, licenses, and disclosures, and stopping use if your permission expires or is withdrawn. Fireship may block or remove material when rights cannot be verified.

Copyright takedown notices

If you believe material available through Fireship infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to info@fireship.ai.

Your notice should include:

  • Your name, contact information, and physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
  • The exact URL, workspace asset, or other information needed to locate the material.
  • A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized.
  • A statement that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

Counter-notice

If content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact information, the removed material and its former location, your good-faith statement, your signature, and any jurisdictional consent required by applicable law. We may share notices and counter-notices with the affected parties.

Repeat infringement and urgent reports

Fireship may suspend or terminate repeat infringers and may preserve, quarantine, or remove disputed media while reviewing a report. For an urgent report, put “Urgent copyright report” in the email subject and include the exact asset location. Do not include passwords, provider keys, or unrelated personal information.
